Brown Bag Seminar
The Graduate Student Brown Bag is a student-run, weekly seminar that provides an opportunity for the Program in Applied Mathematics graduate students, as well as graduate students from other programs, to come together to discuss their research topics, or other topics of interest. It is a useful platform for students to practice their presentation skills among their peers for their oral comp exam, final oral defense, or a talk they plan to give at a conference or seminar.
The seminar is typically held at 12:00 noon on Fridays in the Math building, Room 402. The student organizer for 2018-19 is Ken Yamamoto & J. Ruby Abrams and the schedule can be found here.
