The Program in Applied Mathematics and the Department of Mathematics jointly administer a Professional Masters degree in Mathematical Science which is intended specifically for individuals intending to make careers in industry and commerce, or in the public sector. The program of study is flexible and tailored to individual candidates' needs, and can be interdisciplinary in nature. Details can be found at /info/requirements/pmms/details/. This degree is part of a broader program of Professional Science Masters degrees in the College of Science at the University of Arizona, and students participate with those from other Professional degree programs in specially designed business courses and other activities.
