Title:                Simultaneous abdominal T2-weighted imaging, T2water mapping, and PDFF quantification using respiratory-triggered RADGRASE

Abstract:    In this talk we will begin with a brief overview of the physics of magnetic resonance imaging, focusing specifically on topics relevant to T2 mapping and chemical shift encoded imaging. Then, I will introduce the radial gradient- and spin-echo (RADGRASE) sequence and discuss its utility in quantitative MRI due to its ability to reconstruct fat suppressed T2-weighted imaging, T2water maps, and proton density fat fraction (PDFF) maps. We will conclude by looking at results of using the sequence for free-breathing abdominal imaging in subjects with fatty liver disease.
