Donations to the Program from alumni and friends of the Program are always greatly appreciated and gifts, whatever their size, are a valuable source of funds for Program activities aimed at supporting the professional development of Program students and promoting the Program’s reputation. We would be very pleased to acknowledge your contribution on the Program's website and in the Program Annual Newsletter. If you would prefer your donation to remain anonymous please let us know.
Below are opportunities to donate to the Program:
The Don Wilson Applied Mathematics Endowed Fund for Excellence was established to honor the memory of Don Wilson, a University of Arizona Research Professor in the College of Optical Sciences, with the purpose of providing support for the professional development of graduate students in the Program in Applied Mathematics. Dr. Wilson worked very closely with Harry Barrett’s renowned medical imaging group and helped train many of the Applied Mathematics students who worked in that group. One of those students, Jack Hoppin PhD, and his wife Janna Murgia, made a generous gift to the Program that enabled the fund to be established. If you would like to donate please visit the UA Foundation Don Wilson Fund webpage. For an overview of past student awardees, visit our Don Wilson Endowed Fund Recipients webpage.
The Michael Tabor Fellowship Endowment has been established to honor Dr. Michael Tabor and his unending efforts to support students and research. Funds for this fellowship will be used to support a student enrolled in The University of Arizona's Applied Mathematics Graduate Interdisciplinary Program. If you would like to donate please visit the UA Foundation Michael Tabor Endowment webpage.
