The Graduate Student Brown Bag is a student-run, weekly seminar that provides an opportunity for the Program in Applied Mathematics graduate students, as well as graduate students from other programs, to come together to discuss their research topics, or other topics of interest. It is a useful platform for students to practice their presentation skills among their peers for their oral comp exam, final oral defense, or a talk they plan to give at a conference or seminar.
The seminar is held at 1:00pm on Wednesdays in the Math building, Room 402. The student organizers for 2024-25 are Teddy Meissner and Ed McDugald. The schedule can be found on our Brown Bag Seminar webpage.
