Abstract: Rare Event Sampling Methods in Chemistry and Biology research
This talk will focus on recent advances and applications of enhanced sampling methods designed to study chemical reactions and conformational changes in biological systems. These events are central to chemical mechanism and biological function, but take place on a timescale far beyond that available to conventional computational techniques.
