Arizona–National Lab Days 2026 brings DOE National Laboratory researchers to Tucson for two days of discussion, collaboration and student engagement around AI for Science and Engineering and the Genesis Mission. Organized by the UArizona Graduate Interdisciplinary Program in Applied Mathematics, the event expands the program's decades-long collaboration with Los Alamos into a broader National Lab network. The emphasis is practical and bottom-up: connect scientists around shared research problems, involve graduate students early, and turn conversations into collaborations, internships, co-mentoring and future workforce pathways.
