Abstract: Imagine hundreds of small colons on a plate. How can you use movies of these colons to unveil biological truth? I’ll give an overview of a pipeline for analysis of experiments involving this system, some of the associated mathematical and statistical issues to contend with, and the potential translational impacts of our work.
